Dr. Randy Martin is a Licensed Psychologist with more than 26 years of experience managing and supervising mental health and EAP professionals, conducting psychotherapy, consulting with management and HR in corporate settings on behavioral health issues, and intervening in crisis situations.  Dr. Martin is currently in private practice in Dobbs Ferry [Westchester County, NY] and New York City.  He specializes in:

  • Coaching clients in the tenets of Positive Psychology, the scientific study of well-being and happiness

  • Working collaboratively with clients using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths-based, Solution Focused framework

  • Helping clients improve resilience by utilizing exercise and healthy nutrition to improve their mental health and focus

  • Performing psycho-educational testing on children, adolescents and adults to assess for learning disabilities and psychological issues

  • Conducting workshops for professional, corporate and community audiences on positive psychology, parenting and other topics

  • Writing grants ( including SAMSHA, OMH, and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline)

  • Providing management consultations around troubled employees for managers, supervisors, and HR professionals.

Dr. Martin has worked in numerous settings in both non-profit and corporate sectors, including employee assistance programs, mobile crisis teams, community mental health centers, developmental disability organizations, and crisis intervention services.  He has worked with the full age spectrum of clients, from children to adults, and has conducted training, crisis intervention and therapy with employees from MetLife,
